young members of Silicon Valley Karate took part in Shinkyu Shotokan’s tournament this past Sunday. There was a total of 102 competitors. All of our members did well. Total medal count: Bronze=6; Silver=7; Gold=10. More important than the medals, students learned from their experience and had a good time with the friendly competition. We even had a teenage black belt helping with judging.
